To provide scholarships to York College of Pennsylvania students demonstrating financial need in the pursuit of a nursing degree. Qualifications: Applicants must currently be a full-time nursing student in an accredited BSN, MSN, or doctoral program at York college of Pennsylvania; membership in the student nurses association of Pennsylvania (SNAP) and/or the national student nurses association (NSNA) is highly recommended for those applicants who are currently enrolled in nursing pre-licensure programs; member in the Pennsylvania state nurses association (PSNA) is required for applicants who are currently RNs; must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0; previous recipients of an NFP scholarship are not eligible to apply; applicants are required to financial need. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on essay responses and financial need. How to apply: Applicants must complete applications form; provide all required accompanying documentation: official transcript; two letters of reference on official letterhead; completed essays; a high-resolution (minimum 300 dpi - JPG format) headshot of the applicant in professional attire.
