To support a student pursuing a specific medical specialty, or from a certain area of the province. Qualifications: Applicants must be OMA members with an OMA number; medical students do not need to apply for general bursaries; all students enrolled in an Ontario medical school are eligible for an OMF general bursary; Students enrolled in one of the six Ontario medical school programs: Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine, McMaster University; Northern Ontario School of Medicine; Queen's University School of Medicine; Schulich School of Medicine, Western University; Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto; University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine. Selection criteria: Recipients are chosen based on factors including academic validity of the learning experience, location, adequate academic achievement and need for assistance.
