To provide educational assistance to students who are seeking a career in medicine or nursing. Qualifications: Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates seeking a career in medicine or nursing. Selection criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance. How to apply: Applicants must complete the application form; must submit their official academic high school transcript in Linn or Benon County; official academic transcript from all subsequent institutions of higher education; letter of recommendation from current academic advisor; one-page essay describing why they are interested in a career in nursing or medicine; and list of all school and community service activities. Focus: Medicine; Nursing.
