To assist thesis-related field research in tropical biology and similar fields. Qualifications: Applicants must be graduate students enrolled in a degree program at OTS member institutions and to OTS graduate course alumni. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria. How to apply: Applicants must be submit a application form through online; must be submit typed in 12-point font; no more than four pages for pilot awards; all pages must be numbered; items 1-11 must be submitted by electronically; a letter of endorsement from the thesis advisor should be sent directly by Applicants recommender by electronically; proposals that are incomplete or do not comply with guidelines will not be processed; project abstract, objectives, methods and significance; project schedule and expected outputs; project title; project budget; project justification; literature cited; name, address, telephone, fax and email of four people who can comment on the scientific merit of the proposal; applicant's curriculum vitae; two letter of endorsement from the thesis advisor.
