Orthotic and Prosthetic Education and Research Foundation
Award: $10,000
To support orthotics and prosthetics educators who currently hold teaching position at CAAHEP-accredited O&P education institutions who are pursuing higher degrees to improve their skills as O&P instructors. Qualifications: Applicants must enrolled full-time in a CAAHEP-accredited O&P practitioner program; must completed at least one semester of a CAAHEP-accredited O&P practitioner program; must be an individuals may only receive this award once. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the review panel's criteria. How to apply: Completed application must include the following: current faculty position; degree program; plan of study and progress toward degree; letter of recommendation; applicants' statement describing how the students' academic goals will contribute to excellence as an O&P faculty member and how the OPERF Educator Award will assist the students in pursuing their academic goals; Applicants' CV. Focus: Orthotics prosthetics technology.
