To offer various scholarships to support educational pursuits in the Parkersburg, West Virginia area. Qualifications: Applicants must be HS senior; must be Parkersburg high school, Parkersburg south high school, Williamstown High School; must have GPA: 3.3 minimum; must have financial need; financial need is not to be considered; college plans: bachelor’s degree in education; be high school seniors and current college students; preference: Marshall University; must be residents in the foundation's service area: Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, Mason, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and Wood Counties in West Virginia and Washington County, Ohio. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria; basis of academic potential and interest in community service; consider the following: academics, activities/leadership, service, financial need, special circumstances.
