To support local students pursuing postsecondary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be: HS senior; HS: Wood County or Washington County; have GPA: 2.5 minimum; financial need; have college plans: 2- or 4- year degree or technical program; be high school seniors and current college students; must be residents in the Foundation's service area: Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, Mason, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and Wood Counties in West Virginia and Washington County, Ohio. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria; consider the following: academics, activities/leadership, service, financial need; special circumstances; based on senior HS golf team, academic achievement potential to achieve educational goals.
