To offer various scholarships to support educational pursuits in the Parkersburg, West Virginia area. Qualifications: Applicants must be Parkersburg high school senior; must be GPA 3.0 minimum; must be current college students; must be residents in the foundations service area: Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, Mason, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and Wood Counties in West Virginia and Washington County, Ohio. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria following: activities/leadership, service, financial need, special circumstances; academic merit and high moral character as evidenced by strong commitment to active church, volunteer, community, extra-curricular and/or co-curricular involvement.
