To support local students pursuing postsecondary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be HS senior or post-secondary; have GPA: 2.5 minimum; have financial need; plan to attend full time college; academic achievement shall not be the primary consideration; be high school seniors and current college students; must be residents in the foundation's service area: Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, mason, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and wood counties in west Virginia and Washington county, Ohio. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria; consider the following: academics, activities/leadership, service, financial need; special circumstances; based on: must be assoc. member or an employee, dependent or grandchild of a member of at least 2 years or an employee of at least 2 years of an assoc. member, community service or work experience.
