To support local students pursuing undergraduate or vocational/technical degrees. Qualifications: Applicants must be HS Senior or post-secondary; have GPA: 2.0 minimum; have financial need; preference given to not receiving other significant scholarship support, including the WV promise scholarship; be high school seniors and current college students; must be residents in the foundation's service area: Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, mason, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and wood counties in west Virginia and Washington county, Ohio. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria; consider the following: academics, activities/leadership, service, financial need; special circumstances; academic achievement and involvement in school and community activities.
