To support local students pursuing degrees in elementary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be HS Senior; must be resident: wood county or Tyrone school district in PA; have GPA: 3.0 minimum; must attend college plans: full-time four-year, elementary education; must be residents in the foundation's service area: Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, mason, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and wood counties in west Virginia and Washington county, Ohio. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria; consider the following: academics, activities/leadership, service, financial need; special circumstances; academic performance and achievement with a strong history of community service and demonstrated leadership in school and community activities.
