To offer various scholarships to support educational pursuits in the Parkersburg, West Virginia area. Qualifications: Applicants must be a high school senior or post-secondary from Parkersburg high school; must resident of Wood County; must have a minimum 2.5 GPA; Preference for first generation college student; must be current college students; must be residents in the foundations service area: Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, Mason, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and Wood Counties in West Virginia and Washington County, Ohio. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria following: academics, activities/leadership, service, financial need, special circumstances, personal initiative; service to school or community or participation in employment.
