To assist local students in pursuing postsecondary education in engineering fields. Qualifications: Applicants must be high school senior from Belpre, Calhoun County, Fort Frye, Frontier, Marietta, Parkersburg Catholic, Parkersburg, Parkersburg South, Ravenswood, Ripley, Ritchie County, St. Mary's, Tyler consolidated, Warren, Waterford, Williamstown, or Wirt County high schools or Wood County Christian school; must be college plans to attend engineering related field; must be residents in the foundations service area: Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, Mason, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and Wood Counties in West Virginia and Washington County, Ohio. Selection criteria: Selection based on committee criteria following financial need, academic achievement, leadership abilities, and activities; and potential, honesty, good moral character, extracurricular, community service.
