To support Jackson and Kanawha county residents pursuing degrees in EMT/EMTI certification or nursing. Qualifications: Applicants must be HS senior or post-secondary; must be resident: Jackson or Kanawha County WV; college plans: paramedic, EMT, EMTI or nursing; plan to work in emergency medical services; be high school seniors and current college students; must be residents in the Foundation's service area: Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, Mason, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and Wood Counties in West Virginia and Washington County, Ohio. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria; consider the following: academics, activities/leadership, service, financial need; special circumstances.
