To support local residents pursuing postsecondary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be HS Senior; must be resident of Calhoun, Gilmer, Doddridge, Jackson, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Mason, Wirt or Wood Counties in WV or Washington County OH; preference given to most deserving and financially needy student and to those not already receiving significant educational aid in the form of the WV promise Scholarship or other significant scholarships; be high school seniors and current college students. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria; consider the following: academics, activities/leadership, service, financial need; special circumstances.
