To offer various scholarships to support educational pursuits in the Parkersburg, West Virginia area. Qualifications: Applicants must be high school senior or post-secondary; must be resident in Calhoun, Gilmer, Jackson, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Tyler, Wood, Wirt, or Washington; must have 2.5 minimum GPA; have plan to attend pursuing associate or bachelor level degrees in any field specializing in services for individuals with disabilities college. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria; preference given to applicants willing to volunteer/participate or previously volunteered/participated in Wood County Society's programs; Camp Echo.
