To offer various scholarships to support educational pursuits in the Parkersburg, West Virginia area. Qualifications: Applicants must be Parkersburg high school senior; must be female; must have 2.0 minimum GPA; must demonstrate financial need; must have plan to attend to physical education or physical education science college (sport management, athletic training); must be residents in the foundations service area: Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, Mason, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and Wood Counties in West Virginia and Washington County, Ohio; preference given first to students pursuing a degree in teaching of physical education. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria following: academics, activities/leadership, service, financial need, special circumstances; basis of interest in the expressed majors, financial need, and grade point average.
