Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans

To assist students while honoring the contributions of immigrants and children of immigrants to the United States. Qualifications: Applicants must be the Class of current year; must be a New American who is 30 or younger as of the application deadline, planning on starting or continuing an eligible graduate degree program full-time in the United States in the current and next academic year. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on demonstrated creativity, originality and initiative in one or more aspects of her/his life. How to apply: Applicants must complete application and send resume, college transcripts, and scores of standardized tests. Applicants must also complete two essays: one describing their experience as a new American, and one describing their career-related activities and goals (see scholarship web site for more details).
