Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation - Georgia
Award: $2,500
To provide financial support to those students who are pursuing their educational degree. Qualifications: Applicants must be survivors of pediatric brain or spinal cord tumor who are residents of the state of Georgia; must be entering or currently enrolled in an advanced educational program at a college, university, vocational school, or other setting; and must demonstrate a need for financial assistance. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria. How to apply: Applicants must submit completed application available on the website; two letters of recommendation; and an essay describing the following: 1) brain or spinal cord tumor experience; 2) brief biographical sketch of themselves and future aspirations; and 3) detailed statement of financial need.
