To provide for advanced study by graduate student members who are pursuing a Ph.D. in history or library science-archives and who have passed general examinations by February 16, this year. Qualifications: Applicants must be graduate student members who are pursuing a Ph.D. in history and who have passed general examinations by February 16, this year are eligible to apply; applicant must be a verified member of Phi Alpha Theta. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must be submit application form; must include official transcripts (one official copy from the institution that conferred the baccalaureate degree and from each institution in which graduate work was undertaken); curriculum vitae or resume; writing sample (5 pages, double-spaced); letter of recommendation (only the original); dissertation prospectus of no more than 3 double-spaced pages.
