To honor society in family and consumer sciences, offers scholarships, fellowships and awards only to Phi Upsilon Omicron Members. Qualifications: Applicants must be a graduate research at the master's, doctoral or post-doctoral level in family and consumer sciences or a related area. Application must include research prospectus exhibiting organization and need for the research; Recipients must be Phi U members. Selection criteria: Selection will be based upon applicant's scholastic record; honors and recognitions; participation in honor society, professional, community, and other organizations; scholarly work; statement of professional goals; and recommendations.
