To provide Undergraduate scholarships are awarded to members enrolled in baccalaureate degree programs in family and consumer sciences or a related area. Qualifications: Applicants must be a non-traditional student who is a member of Phi U working toward a baccalaureate degree in family and consumer sciences or a related subject; must provide a financial statement and complete the justification statement (see application) explaining the need for additional education for gainful employment and giving reasons why to be considered a viable candidate. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the applicant's scholastic record; participation in Phi U and other collegiate activities; a statement of professional aims and goals; professional services; and recommendations.
