To encourage graduate students to broaden their phycological training by attending phycology courses at biological field stations. Qualifications: Applicants must be members of PSA; must be currently enrolled in a graduate program or formally admitted at the time of the submission of the application. Selection criteria: Selection of recipients will be based on the overall fit of the proposed course to the applicant's future career and research objectives, and the potential of the applicant to benefit from attendance. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include: a copy of their transcript (unofficial copies are acceptable) must be uploaded using the provided widget in the Jotform portal; must request a short letter of recommendation from their major advisor; must have applicants advisor submit only one (1) copy of this letter to the Committee Chair.
