To provide financial assistance for tuition, fees and other appropriate educational expenses for residents of Clark County, Nevada who are graduating seniors from Valley High School that will be enrolling full-time at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Qualifications: Applicants must be Valley High School seniors planning to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas as full-time students; must possess leadership skills and community service involvement. Selection criteria: Selection will be given to students with financial need. How to apply: Applicants should submit a completed application form together with the following: two letters of recommendation from a teacher, school counselor, club advisor, coach or employer; an essay (of 200 words) explaining careers and aspirations; and resume, as well as a letter of admission from UNLV.
