To support research, and conservation of raptors especially to students and amateurs with limited access to alternative funding. Qualifications: Applicants may be members and non-members of RRF. Applicants must be students or amateurs with limited access to alternative funding; agency proposals are not accepted. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria. How to apply: Applicants should be submit a cover letter highlighting the motivations, objectives, and expected outcomes of the study; the applicant’s CV; a proposal of no more than five pages, including: background and justification (need); study objectives and methods; a budget detailing how funds will be spent; a list of other funding sources, both requested and received; expected results; literature cited (maximum one page); a photograph of the applicant, preferably in the field, to be used when awards are announced. Focus: Wildlife conservation, management, and science.
