To recognize that the investment in knowledge pays the best dividends for the future. Qualifications: Applicants must be an Oregon resident or enrolled in an Oregon college or university for Fall term current year; for current college students: must be enrolled full-time in a computer science degree program or related field at an accredited Oregon college or university; for high school seniors: must be an Oregon resident or intend to enroll in an Oregon college or university in a computer science or tech program must be in good standing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher one application per calendar year; previous scholarship winners may reapply with a new submission. Selection criteria: Essay will be judged on the level of creativity, humor (we love to laugh), grammar, and content. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; include: cover letter; application essay; contact information; a copy of applicants academic transcript; university enrollment status (current students) or university acceptance letter for high school seniors or new graduate students; applicants should submit an essay not to exceed 1000 words on the topic below; should submit a brief cover letter explaining why applicants are pursuing the degree applicants have chosen and how it will benefit applicants in applicants future. Focus: Computer and information sciences.
