To recognize students from middle school to post-graduate level, from communities throughout the state, and in many different fields of study. Qualifications: Applicants must be student 25 years of age or older; must pursuing an undergraduate degree in degree-conferring non-parochial institution in Rhode Island; must demonstrate financial need; preference given to students attending Rhode Island College, Community College of Rhode Island, or University of Rhode Island; preference given to first-time applicants; past recipients are eligible to reapply. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on students attending Rhode Island College, Community College of Rhode Island or University of Rhode Island.
