To assist Rhode Island women with transportation, child-care, tutoring, educational materials, and/or other support services. Qualifications: Applicants must be education or job training beyond high school; students from middle school to post-graduate level, from communities throughout the state, and in many different fields of study; all Rhode Island students, regardless of immigration status, are eligible to apply. Selection criteria: Preference given to highly motivated, self-supporting, low-income women completing first undergraduate degree or certificate program.
