Award: $5,000
To encourage dedicated lawyers to pursue public interest careers. Qualifications: Applicants must work at a public interest "sponsoring" organization, subject to approval by the Fellowship; organization must be in either the San Francisco Bay Area or the Greater Los Angeles Metropolitan Area; applicants must work at a sponsoring organization for at least ten weeks during the summer. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria. How to apply: Applicants must submit online nomination form; submit a cover letter, a resume, and three references.
