To provide scholarships to Alabama seniors pursuing postsecondary education. Qualifications: Applicant must be a graduating high school senior who resides in a county in Alabama within the Alabama Power Company (APC) service territory; must plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the upcoming academic year; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Selection criteria: Selection is based on academics, work experience, participation and leadership in school and community activities, unusual personal or family circumstances, and statement of educational and career goals.
