To support Connecticut students pursuing undergraduate degrees in STEM fields. Qualifications: Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or previous high school graduate who resides in Connecticut; must plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university for the upcoming academic year; must intend to pursue a degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field (medical fields are not eligible). Selection criteria: Selection is based on academics, work experience, participation and leadership in school and community activities, unusual personal or family circumstances, statement of educational and career goals, and online recommendation. Preference given to first generation students. How to apply: Applicant must complete the online application and submit current transcripts. Applicant must have an online recommendation submitted on their behalf. Focus: Engineering; Mathematics and mathematical sciences; Science; Technology.
