To provide scholarships for students pursuing undergraduate education. Qualifications: Applicant must be a graduating high school senior, former graduate, or current college student residing in the states of Connecticut, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, or West Virginia; must be enrolled or plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the upcoming academic year; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA; must demonstrate a commitment to fostering a welcome environment where all people feel valued and supported. Renewable for up to 3 years if renewal conditions are met. Selection criteria: Selection is based on academics, work experience, participation and leadership in school and community activities, unusual personal or family circumstances, statement of educational and career goals, online recommendation, and demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusivity. How to apply: Applicant must complete the online application and submit current transcripts along with a copy of the first two pages of the most recently filed IRS Form 1040. Applicant must have an online recommendation submitted on their behalf. Focus: General studies/Field of study not specified.
