To provide scholarships to students with rare diseases. Qualifications: Applicant must have been diagnosed by a physician as having any form of a rare disease; must be enrolled or planning to enroll part- or full-time in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited two-or four-year university, college, or vocational school for the upcoming fall semester; must be a U.S. resident; must be at least 17 years old. Previous recipients may reapply. Selection criteria: Selection is based on submitted essay, academic performance, work experience, and demonstrated leadership and participation in community and school activities. How to apply: Applicant must complete the application online and submit most recent transcripts and proof or rare disease diagnosis. Focus: General studies/Field of study not specified.
