To support SAG-AFTRA members pursuing postsecondary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be current with SAG-AFTRA dues Members; terminated, Suspended and FICORE Members and their dependents are ineligible; member/Parent must be in good standing for at least 5 years with minimum SAG-AFTRA lifetime earnings of $50,000; member Applicants under 27 years of age must be in good standing for at least 5 years with minimum SAG-AFTRA lifetime earnings of $10,000; dependent applicants of Deceased or Honorable Withdrawal Members are eligible if parent was a member for at least 5 years with minimum SAG-AFTRA lifetime earnings of $50,000; dependent Applicants 27 and older are ineligible; must be members over the age of 27 transitioning out of a performance career into another career. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria; basis of Academic standing, financial need, the essay, and letters of recommendation. How to apply: Applicants must complete the online application form; should include transcripts: high school, college, university; sat or act scores; two (2) letters of recommendation (dated for the current school year); essay: 350 to 750 words; most recent federal tax return for applicant, parents, spouse, including schedules a, b, & d. federal tax return only.
