To support the work of advanced graduate students and those scholars. Qualifications: Applicants must be advanced graduate students and those scholars who do not hold a doctoral degree but are employed full-time as historians. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on originality and quality of the proposed research, the cost-effectiveness of the proposal, and the likelihood that the research will contribute to the development of the field of military history. How to apply: Applicants must submit brief cover letter outlining the specific research needs to be addressed by this funding, CV, and a budget; a letter of reference from the doctoral advisor or another individual familiar with the scholarship should be sent separately.
