To recognize and support students who have already received approval for their dissertation project. Qualifications: Applicant must be a member of SSCP; dissertation proposal must be approved by applicant's department; current Board members and those who have won this award previously are ineligible. How to apply: Applicants must submit an online application including a cover letter, a research plan of up to five pages, an abstract of no more than 250 words, a one-page budget and list of additional funding sources, a curriculum vitae, and a recommendation letter from their dissertation advisor confirming good standing and approval of the dissertation prospectus. The advisor's letter must be uploaded separately using the designated link. Focus: Psychology.
