To support outstanding students enrolled in sports administration programs, with an emphasis on facility and/or event management. Qualifications: Applicants must have completed a minimum of 2 years of study or be classified as a junior; must have full time status for the entire scholarship year; must be actively engaged in community service; must have stadium related work experience. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on GPA: 20%, financial need: 10%, educational & career goals: 20%, school & activities: 15%, references: 10%, community activities: 15%, industry activities: 10%. How to apply: Applicants must completed application form; must include: copy of college transcript (including most recent semester, must be official college transcript); three letters of reference (at least one must be from an instructor/advisor and one must be from outside the academic environment, preferably industry specific); attach that letters are preferred to be on letterhead, dated, with signature; writing sample: submit an essay about theirself and why applicants are applying for this scholarship; the essay must include any future goals (minimum of 250 words and maximum of 500 words); resume. Focus: Hotel, institutional, and restaurant management; Sports studies.
