To assist students residing in Stark County who are pursuing a degree at an accredited school in Ohio and who have attained at least sophomore status in college. Qualifications: Applicant must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.75 and demonstrate financial need; students pursuing a degree in higher education who either reside or attended high school in Stark or Carroll county; students must be accepted or enrolled in an accredited institution in the United States; students must be a 2- or 4-year undergraduate programs. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on commitment to advancing justice and well-being of communities; Demonstration of financial need; Preference given to those facing systemic barriers, such as Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color, trans, non-binary, and gender diverse individuals, immigrants, disabled people, people over 25, people living rurally, and those experiencing housing instability or poverty.
