To provide scholarship assistance to qualified individuals who want to pursue an accounting degree. Qualifications: Students must be enrolled at an Ohio college or university in their third, fourth or fifth year of accounting studies (pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting) whose permanent address is in Stark County, Ohio. Applicants must demonstrate need for financial aid; demonstrate outstanding involvement in community activities; have achieved a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; must have stated a desire to obtain certification of CPA and remain in Stark County, Ohio. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria.
