To assist seniors attending high school in Stark County who will graduate the year the scholarship is awarded, or residents of Stark County. Qualifications: Applicants must be who have previously attained a high school diploma or GED and have been accepted by or presently attending a two-year or four-year college or university, nursing school, or post high school vocational education program; applicants must have achieved a GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale if the recipient's high school graduation date is within three years of the scholarship award date, or has otherwise demonstrated the ability to successfully complete the program for which the applicant has enrolled Must demonstrate financial need; students pursuing a degree in higher education who either reside or attended high school in Stark or Carroll county; students must be accepted or enrolled in an accredited institution in the United States; students must be a 2- or 4-year undergraduate programs. Selection criteria: Must have achieved a GPA of at least 2.5.
