To assist full-time college students in pursuing a degree to prepare for a career in the tag and label manufacturing industry. Qualifications: Applicants must be demonstrate interest in employment in the tag, label and/or package printing industry; major coursework should include courses which are relevant to the tag, label, and/or package printing industry, these courses can include (but are not limited to): management, sales/marketing, production, and graphic communications. Applicant must maintain a minimum of a 3.00 GPA; must have completed at least one semester of college; high school students are not eligible at this time; relatives of TLMI board members, corporate owners, and CEOs are not eligible. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on academic achievement, a demonstrated interest in the tag, label, and package printing industry, a statement of goals, a personal interview, and two letters of recommendation. How to apply: Applicant must submit online form along with: two letters of recommendation, one from an educator, including professors, instructors, or advisors and the second one from a supervisor, mentor, coach, or educator; samples or documentation that demonstrate interest in the tag, label, and package printing industry; and academic transcripts (both official and unofficial will be accepted). Focus: Graphic art and design; Management; Marketing and distribution.
