To provide resources for English language professionals to attend the annual TESOL international convention & English language Expo. Qualifications: Applicants must be TESOL members in good standing who are currently practicing English language teachers, teacher trainers, or supervisors with at least 5 years of experience working in a setting where English is taught as a foreign or additional language (EFL/EAL); Professionals working in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand, are not eligible for this award. Selection criteria: Preference is given to applicants who have never attended a TESOL international convention & English language Expo. How to apply: Application must be submitted online; submit the following: biographical statement (50 words max); two letters of recommendation; all materials must be written in English; describe and evaluate the applicant’s work in EFL/EAL; attest to the applicant’s commitment to teaching in an EFL/EAL setting; describe how the applicant and others will benefit from their attending the TESOL convention.
