To provide funds for travel and living expenses for scholars and students engages in research on Thomas Wolfe, especially those working out of the William B. Wisdom Collection in the Houghton Library, Harvard University. Qualifications: Candidates at work on PhD dissertations are especially encouraged. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria; consideration will also be given to applicants who wish to use the Thomas wolfe collection in the university of north Carolina at chapel hill.
