McDonald’s Inspiration Celebration Scholarship

Award: $10,000
To support Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) within the TMCF member-school network. Qualifications: Students must be 18 years or older; current undergraduate or graduate student; be enrolled in the 2018-2019 school year as a full-time student at one of TMCF's 47 member-schools; undergraduate or graduate; current grade point average of 3.0 or higher; have demonstrated involvement in music performance and/or education through a relevant music major and/or participation in band or similar musical activity. Selection criteria: Recipients will be evaluated based on their merit and financial need. In addition, the scholarship application process is highly competitive and most awards are limited to students attending TMCF member-schools, which are public Historically Black Colleges and Universities. How to apply: must submit the following supporting documents: resume; most recent college transcript (unofficial or official); 2018-2019 Student Aid Report; a few photos; minimum of 500 words address; involvement in music, whether it's thru your academic major or a performance. Focus: General studies/Field of study not specified.
