To support a Union County graduate pursuing a degree in forestry at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Qualifications: Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Union County high school who plans to pursue a degree in forestry at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Selection criteria: Selection is based on academic merit, character, and financial need. How to apply: Application must be completed through the online portal. Applicant must submit cumulative high school or college transcript through the most recent term which must include either ACT or SAT scores; two letters of recommendation, one from a school official and one from an adult other than a family member; a single page typewritten essay that relates the student’s educational and career goals. Focus: Forestry.
