To provide a scholarship for a graduating El Dorado High School student who is also a golfer. Qualifications: Applicant must be a graduating senior from El Dorado High School in Arkansas who has participated in the in the school's golf program; must be planning to pursue postsecondary education; must have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Selection criteria: Selection criteria include, but are not limited to, academic merit, character, golfing ability, and financial need. How to apply: Application must be completed through the online portal. Applicant must submit cumulative high school or college transcript through the most recent term which must include either ACT or SAT scores; two letters of recommendation, one from a school official and one from an adult other than a family member; a single page typewritten essay describing why the applicant feels he/she is deserving of the award, and a brief description of college and post-college career plans.
