To support a local student pursuing a degree in a medical field. Qualifications: Applicant must be a graduating senior from El Dorado High School who plans to pursue a career in the medical field, including but not limited to, nursing, medical doctor, physical therapist, and dental professional; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Selection criteria: Selection criteria include, but are not limited to, financial need and academic merit. Preference will be given to students who were members of the Boys and Girls Club of El Dorado, Arkansas, an organization that was special to Bill Landers. How to apply: Application must be completed through the online portal. Applicant must submit cumulative high school or college transcript through the most recent term; one letter of recommendation from a school official; a single page typewritten essay on the applicant's educational and career goals. Focus: Dentistry; Medicine; Nursing; Physical therapy.
