To support Union County police officers who plan to continue their education. Qualifications: Applicant must be an active, sworn police officer employed by a department in Union County, Arkansas; must be a resident of Union County; must plan to pursue a degree in criminal justice from an accredited college or university, or plan to pursue courses from an accredited college to move forward in their career. Selection criteria: Selection criteria include academic merit, character, and financial need. How to apply: Application must be completed through the online portal. Applicant must submit a letter of recommendation from their supervisor at their police department. Focus: Criminal justice; Law enforcement.
