Qualifications: Applicant must be a resident of Union County, Arkansas, and the dependent spouse of an active, sworn police officer employed by a department in Union County; must be seeking a degree at an accredited college, up to and including a Bachelor's degree. Selection criteria: Selection criteria include character and financial need. How to apply: Application must be completed through the online portal. Applicant must submit two letters of recommendation, from a school official, employer, or an adult other than a family member along with a single-page, typewritten essay describing how applicant will use the scholarship to advance their career goals.
