To support a graduating African American student planning to attend college. Qualifications: Eligible students must be El Dorado High School graduating seniors for African American heritage who plan to pursue postsecondary education; must have a minimum 2.5 GPA; must demonstrate financial need and academic merit. How to apply: Application must be completed through the online portal. Applicant must submit cumulative high school or college transcript through the most recent term which must include either ACT or SAT scores; two letters of recommendation, one from a school official and one from an adult other than a family member; a single page typewritten essay on the applicant’s educational and career goals. Focus: General studies/Field of study not specified.
